I Will Draw Near
03:34
|
|||
I Will Draw Near
I will draw near to You O Lord my God
With a thankful heart
There's nothing I'd rather do than
To rest within Your loving arms
For truly there is no one as wonderful as You
As You first drew near to me
So I will draw near to You

He is High and Lifted Up
04:26
|
|||
He is High and Lifted Up
Verse 1
He is high and lifted up
His train fills the temple
The angels cry holy is the Lord
(repeat)
Chorus 1
They cry, holy is the Lord
Holy is the Lord
Holy is the Lord
Who sits upon the throne
Verse 2
I fell down as a dead man
At the sight of One so holy
As the angels sang the foundation shook
(repeat)
Chorus 2
They sang holy is the Lord
Holy is the Lord
Holy is the Lord
Who sits upon the throne
Chorus 3
We sing, holy is the Lord
Holy is the Lord
Holy is the Lord
Who sits upon the throne

Leaving Familiar
05:24
|
|||
Leaving Familiar
Verse 1:
My name is Ordinary from the town of Familiar
Living out a routine life when something strange occurred
The Dream Giver came and placed a big dream in my heart
I guess that’s where the great adventure starts
Familiar life is not so bad, it doesn’t take a lot of faith
You simply do what you’ve done before, nothing ventured, nothing gained
But the dream wouldn’t let me settle for just the daily grind
So I headed for that city limit sign
Chorus:
And I’m leaving Familiar
And I’m never going back
It would be so easy to turn around and give up on the dream
But what would I do about the hole it left inside of me?
Verse 2:
The folks and fellow citizens met me at the borderline
Explaining the absurdity of leaving all I’ve known behind
Home is so much safer than the vast unknown expanse
And a fool like me would never stand a chance
Despite their pleas, I continued on my offbeat exodus
The journey has been long and hard and often times perilous
But faith and hope are still alive, however dark the way may seem
Because the Dream Giver accompanies the dream
Chorus:
And I’m leaving Familiar
And I’m never going back
It would be so easy to turn around and give up on the dream
But what would I do about the hole it left inside of me?
Bridge:
Along the way, I fought giants
And buried some things that I’ve held dear
But the truth is, they aren’t worth comparing
To the dream and to the One who led me here
Verse 3
Dearest friends and relatives I hope this letter finds you well
I’m living out my destiny and oh the stories I could tell
I hope one day you look inside and discover just like me
You’re never more alive than when you dream
Chorus:
That’s why I left behind Familiar
And I’m never going back
It would be so easy to turn around and give up on the dream
But what would I do about the hole?
What would I do about the hole?
Tell me, what would I do about the hole it left inside of me?

Christ the Solid Rock
04:04
|
|||
Christ the Solid Rock
Verse 1:
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus Christ, my righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
Chorus:
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking, sinking sand.
Verse 2:
When darkness hides His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.
Verse 3:
When Christ shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
Dressed in His righteousness, alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
Lyrics: Edward Mote (1797-1874)
Music: William Batchelder Bradbury (1816-1868)

Better than Life
Verse 1
Better than life, better than life
Jesus Your love is better than life
My lips shall praise and lift You high
For Your love is better than life
Verse 2
Greater than sin, greater than sin
Jesus Your grace is greater than sin
You picked me up and brought me in
For Your grace is greater than sin
Verse 3
Highest of all, highest of all
Jesus Your name is highest of all
Nations will bow, the great and the small
For Your name is highest of all

Prayer of Samson

|

Prayer of Samson
Verse 1:
Oh Lord here am I
Your humble servant broken and blind
The power I knew I threw away
For a season of pleasure, I trampled Your grace
Chorus:
But just one more time fill me with You power
Just one more time let Your Spirit rise in me
Let the idols fall and let Your name be honored
Just one more time, hear my humble plea.
Verse 2:
I can remember Your mighty deeds
The many battles, the victories
I used to be so aware
of Your presence within me, could You still be there?
Chorus:
But just one more time fill me with You power
Just one more time let Your Spirit rise in me
Let the idols fall and let Your name be honored
Just one more time, hear my humble plea.
Bridge:
Oh Lord I know I walked away
But now I fear Your holy name
Here I am, take me now
Here's my life, Lord I lay it down
Here I am, please use me now
Chorus:
But just one more time fill me with You power
Just one more time let Your Spirit rise in me
Let the idols fall and let Your name be honored
Just one more time, hear my humble plea.

You Will Dance
04:12
|
|||
You Will Dance
The Lord appeared to us, this is what He said
I have loved you with an everlasting love
I have drawn you by My loving-kindness
And I will build you up again
You will dance, you will dance
And plant vineyards all along the hills
You will dance, you will dance
For I will build you up again
Listen do you hear the watchman cry
Let us go up to the mountain of the Lord
With shouts of joy on the heights of Zion
Your sorrow and shame will be no more
You will dance, you will dance
And plant vineyards all along the hills
You will dance, you will dance
For I will build you up again
You will dance, you will dance
And plant vineyards all along the hills
You will dance, you will dance
For I will build you up again
For I will build you up again
Yes I will build you up again

I Am God
03:47
|
|||
I Am God
I am God there is no other
I am God there is none like Me
I've made known the end from the beginning
I am God there is none like me
My purpose will stand forever
My purpose will stand forever
My purpose will stand forever
I do what I please
You are God there is no other
You are God there is none like You
You've made known the end from the beginning
You are God there is none like You
Your purpose will stand forever
Your purpose will stand forever
Your purpose will stand forever
Lord, do what You please

To the Only Wise God
03:08
|
|||
To the Only Wise God
To the only wise God be glory forever
Through Jesus Christ
Through Jesus Christ
To the only wise God be glory forever
Through Jesus Christ, Amen
All those who've gone before
And we who remain
Will join the angels and raise our song
To the One who's worthy of all praise

This Savior of Mine
This Savior of Mine

Vs. 1
In this world we all have trouble
The things you can count on are precious and few
But I’ve found that no matter the struggle
There’s still one I can hold on to
Chorus:
Though the figs trees have no blossoms
And there be no grapes on the vine
Though the crops fail and the fields lie barren
I know I’ll be just fine - trusting in this Savior of mine
Vs. 2
The path I’m on seems to stretch on forever
Disappointment waits around almost every turn
With eyes of faith and my feet moving forward
I find comfort in the truth I have learned
Chorus:
Bridge:
If God is for me who can stand against me
He’s the God of “more than enough”
He provides and cares for His children
Beneath the shelter of His everlasting love

Next to You
03:33
|
|||
Next to You
More beautiful than the sun that sets in the western sky
More majestic than the snowy peaks reaching up so high
The stars in all their vast array grow dim and fade away
When standing next to You
More lovely than a rainbow after a morning shower
More precious than a baby's smile or a single desert flower
And the crashing ocean tide rolls back and moves aside
When standing next to You
For You alone are holy and Your's I want to be
May my love be unmixed the way that You love me
All creation stands in awe at the wonders of Your hand
Your thoughts are inconceivable even to the wisest man
Because of Your great love and grace, I plan to spend all my days
Just standing next to You

As For Man
02:44
|
|||
As For Man
As for man, his days are as grass
The wind blows and it is gone
remembered no more
But from everlasting to everlasting
The Lord's love is with those who fear Him
For as high as the heavens are above the earth
So great is His love for those who fear Him
As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed
our transgressions, our transgressions
