about

I wrote this song as a tribute to Pastor, Tedd Manning, who is a dear friend and the person who by example, taught me the most about what a real pastor is like. He is a remarkable man of an awesome amazing God!

lyrics

Still, I Know (For Tedd)

Verse 1:
I have never seen Jesus with my own two eyes
I have never touched His nail-scarred hands or the wound in His side
My ears have never heard His voice speaking to me
No wondrous visions or supernatural dreams

Chorus:
Still, I know just what He’s like
Because I’ve seen His love and grace
His kindness, strength, and wisdom
In the way you’ve run your race
His features so unmistakable
Easy to recognize
And I love the Jesus I have seen
Shining through your life

Verse 2:
All of heaven and creation sing the Great Redeemer’s praise
Seraphim cry holy and cover up their face
Such majesty and glory in unapproachable light
It overwhelms and lies beyond the realm of human sight
